The invention of television was the work of many individuals. It rapidly developed during the 20th century as a result of the work of a number of people. On March 25, 1925, John Logie Baird gave the first public demonstration of televised images in motion. Afterwards, on January 26, 1926, he demonstrated the transmission of an image of a face in motion using radio. This is widely regarded as being the world’s first public television demonstration. Therefore John Logie Baird is considered as the inventor of the TV.
